Privacy policy
Last updated: 19 August 2026
This policy explains how VibeIT Tech ("we") handles information in the apps we publish and on this website. It applies to every VibeIT Tech app unless that app ships a policy of its own, which then takes precedence.
The short version
- We do not ask you to create an account to use the basics of our apps.
- We do not collect your precise location.
- We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
- Content you create in an app stays on your device unless you choose to back it up to your own cloud account.
Information we collect
Our apps work without a sign in, so we hold no name, email address, or profile for you unless you write to us. What our apps do handle falls into two groups.
On your device. Settings, saved files, history, and anything else you create in the app are stored locally on the device. We cannot read that data. Uninstalling the app removes it.
Diagnostics and advertising. Where an app includes crash reporting or ads, our providers may receive technical information such as a device advertising identifier, device model, operating system version, coarse region, app version, and how the app behaved when something went wrong. This is used to keep the app working and to serve ads, and it is not used by us to identify you personally.
Permissions
Android asks for a permission only when a feature genuinely needs it, and the feature stops working if you decline. Some examples of how ours are used:
- Camera for features that show or capture a live preview. Nothing is uploaded.
- Storage and media to open files you pick and to save output where you can find it.
- Network state for connection and diagnostic features.
- Notifications to show progress or reminders you have asked for.
You can withdraw any permission at any time in Android settings.
Advertising and consent
Some of our apps are free and supported by ads served through Google AdMob. Where local law requires it, including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we ask for your consent through Google's certified consent platform before any personalised ad is requested, and you can change that choice later from the privacy options inside the app. Google's handling of ad data is described in the Google privacy and terms.
Service providers
We use a small number of third parties to run and support our apps. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Google AdMob for advertising
- Google Firebase for crash reporting and basic usage analytics
- Google Play for distribution and app updates
Where an app offers a backup or sync feature, it writes to your own Google Drive account under your control. We do not run a server holding your content, and we cannot see what is in that backup.
Children
Our apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices and your rights
You can stop all collection by uninstalling the app. You can reset or delete your advertising identifier in Android settings, and you can change your consent choice from inside any app that asks for one.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to how it is used. Write to us and we will act on it. See Delete your account for deletion requests.
Data retention
Data kept on your device stays until you delete it or uninstall the app. Diagnostic and advertising data is retained by our providers according to their own policies. Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to deal with them.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information under our control. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
This website
This site is a set of static pages hosted on GitHub Pages. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics. GitHub may log requests as part of serving the site.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our apps change. The date at the top always reflects the current version, and continued use of our apps after an update means you accept it.
